Assessment

The first meeting with a prospective student is a short lesson where I learn how the student responds to my information and I decide if we can work together. I use many different books and try to find out what motivates the student. After the first few lessons, parents should not stay in the studio.

Attendance

I do not guarantee make-up lessons for injuries, inclement weather, or sick days. I want students who sustain hand injuries to attend their lessons. We will study one hand alone, music theory or history.

Practice

Disciplined practice habits are necessary in order to improve technique and develop artistically.

Recitals

I hold one recital every year in which my students have the opportunity to perform for parents, relatives, and friends.

Fees

30 minutes $50.00
45 minutes $75.00
60 minutes $100.00

Lessons are paid monthly on a per-lesson basis.
